Your challenges: Effective Data Synchronization requires quality data. Even so, many distributors, brokers, and retailers still receive poor-quality data from their suppliers. Throughout the value chain—from the suppliers that publish data to the organizations that use it—trading partners need a way to ensure that data is trustworthy.
How 1SYNC helps: 1SYNC has developed the Data Accuracy Scorecard—a web-based monitoring tool that measures the accuracy of a system’s GDSN data against an authenticated set of data.
The Data Accuracy Scorecard uses GS1 Standards around product data to validate the quality of a trading partner’s product data, and then scores that quality on behalf of retailers for their suppliers. The system groups and scores attribute accuracy by functional groups and item details. It sorts, prioritizes, and filters results—graphically monitoring accuracy rates and progress. In addition to integrating with the data maintenance screens in the 1SYNC Data Pool, the results can also be exported.
How you benefit: The Data Accuracy Scorecard empowers all members of the value chain to identify and address problems with data and data management processes. It measures the effectiveness of current processes and allows both publishers and recipients to monitor and fix the quality of GDSN Data. Retailers can identify issues and work with their community of vendors to resolve them. For their part, suppliers can ensure the quality of the data they’re publishing before distributing it to their community of distributors, brokers, and retailers.
